Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full payroll administration process
Process and submit UIF, PAYE and SDL declarations
Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, journals, and supplier payments
Compile monthly CTC reports and payroll packs for sign-off
Process terminations, maternity claims, and workmen’s compensation
Manage leave administration and payroll-related queries
Prepare pension submissions and payroll-related filings
Assist with tax year-end procedures and audits
Support month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting
Provide backup support to the bookkeeper and assist with ad-hoc finance tasks
Skills & Requirements:
Relevant qualification in Payroll / Finance / Accounting
Minimum 3–5 years experience in a payroll-focused role
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation (UIF, PAYE, SDL)
Experience working on Sage or similar payroll systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
Good communication and organisational skills
