About the Role
Our client, a progressive and growing organisation, is looking for a Reporting Consultant with strong FP&A, financial modelling, and systems implementation expertise to join their finance team. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working at the intersection of finance, systems, and data, ensuring that reporting frameworks are robust, insightful, and aligned with business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Design and enhance management reporting frameworks and financial dashboards.
- Support FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, and variance analysis.
- Lead or support financial systems implementation and reporting automation initiatives.
- Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior management.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation, and data accuracy.
Requirements
Education:
- CIMA qualification (completed or in progress) preferred
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management Accounting
Experience:
- 3 – 6 years’ experience in a reporting, FP&A, or management accounting role
- Strong financial modelling experience, including forecasting and scenario analysis
- Exposure to systems implementation, reporting tools, or financial systems optimisation
- Experience working with large financial datasets and reporting structures
Skills:
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills
- Strong management reporting and FP&A capabilities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (financial modelling essential)
- Experience with BI tools, ERP systems, or reporting platforms advantageous
- Strong systems thinking and process improvement mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
