About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Paid Media Specialist to join our team in Johannesburg, responsible for managing campaign budgets, planning and optimizing campaigns across multiple platforms, and driving performance through data analysis and insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage campaign budgets, estimate monthly costs, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Plan, create, and optimise campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, X, TikTok, Apple Ads, and other platforms.
- Oversee retargeting efforts, including budgets, targets, feed maintenance, and partner tracking.
- Maintain Google Merchant Center, export feeds, and campaign assets.
- Collaborate with SEO specialists on search console issues and optimisation.
- Monitor campaign performance and implement improvements via A/B testing and experiments.
- Analyse large datasets and generate insights for ROI-driven recommendations.
- Manage Google Tag Manager, Firebase, Adjust/AppsFlyer MMP tracking, and implement new tracking solutions.
- Conduct competitor research and post-campaign analysis.
- Pull, clean, and maintain reporting dashboards using Looker Studio, TwoMinute Reports, and other tools.
- Mentor and support the Paid Media Coordinator.
Requirements
- 5 years of digital marketing experience.
- Google Adwords and Google Analytics certified.
- Highly numerate, with high levels of Spreadsheet skills (MS Excel and/or Google sheets).
- Ability to work with large data sets to drive insights and recommendations.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on driving performance.
- Proficiency in Looker Studio and SEO an advantage.
