About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team in Johannesburg. As a qualified Millwright or Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed as per the pm schedule
  • Manage the repair of any breakdowns or m/c failures
  • Improve current equipment robustness and design where possible
  • Keep pm downtime to a minimum by coordinating with production
  • Log all breakdowns and review history for pm improvements
  • Manage critical spares selection and availability
  • Provide budget input for all maintenance costs and improvement projects

Requirements

  • Matric with Mathematics NTC 3
  • Applicable Trade Qualification (e.g. Millwright / Fitter)
  • 5 Years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
