About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team in Johannesburg. As a qualified Millwright or Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed as per the pm schedule
- Manage the repair of any breakdowns or m/c failures
- Improve current equipment robustness and design where possible
- Keep pm downtime to a minimum by coordinating with production
- Log all breakdowns and review history for pm improvements
- Manage critical spares selection and availability
- Provide budget input for all maintenance costs and improvement projects
Requirements
- Matric with Mathematics NTC 3
- Applicable Trade Qualification (e.g. Millwright / Fitter)
- 5 Years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
