Johannesburg: Part time Store Manager | O.R. Tambo International Airport | Footwear Retailer

About the Role

We are seeking a Part Time Store Manager to join our footwear retail store at O.R. Tambo International Airport. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and ensuring excellent customer service. This is a 3-month contract position with the possibility of extension or permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work 3 times a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 9am to 6pm
• Drive turnover to achieve targets
• Manage expenses and stock losses to ensure shrinkage is in line with company standards
• Develop staff, manage employee relations, and perform performance management
• Interpret and react to retail market trends in a timely fashion

Requirements

• A combination of or equivalent to the completion of post-secondary education
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Senior Store Manager / Junior Area Manager preferably in the footwear brand environment
• Strong sales experience
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision

Salary & Benefits
