About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join a prestigious Luxury Restaurant based in Johannesburg. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled chef to advance their career in a high-end culinary environment that values creativity, consistency, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring food preparation and service meet restaurant standards
- Assist in the development and execution of new menu items
- Maintain high levels of quality, presentation, and portion control
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards
- Supervise and support junior kitchen staff where necessary
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Contribute to maintaining a positive, professional, and efficient working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a fine dining or luxury restaurant environment
- Recognised culinary qualification or equivalent professional training
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations
- Excellent culinary skills with a passion for delivering dishes to the highest standard
- Ability to manage a section independently and maintain consistency during busy service periods
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High level of organisation, cleanliness, and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required

Salary & Benefits
R8,000 – R9,000 per month (negotiable depending on experience)
