About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Specialist with electrical expertise to drive sales growth, margin optimization, and market development for our CCS and CCA conductor solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the electrical/cable industry, a strong technical background, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for CCS and CCA conductors and related cable solutions
  • Identify and grow opportunities within utilities, mining, EPC contractors, consulting engineers, and renewable energy sectors
  • Drive revenue growth, margin optimisation, and support regional sales teams in promoting the product range
  • Lead key account management and high-level negotiations
  • Market Development & Product Expansion: Develop sustainable markets for alternative conductor solutions
  • Identify opportunities to expand the cable range and position products as cost-effective, anti-theft alternatives to copper
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends
  • Secure product approvals and specifications with utilities and consultants
  • Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with international suppliers, including executive-level engagement
  • Serve as the key liaison between suppliers and the local business
  • Align on pricing, technical developments, and market expansion initiatives
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers and complementary product lines
  • Procurement & Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate product sourcing with procurement teams
  • Ensure competitive pricing, reliable supply, and optimal stock levels
  • Support forecasting, demand planning, and proactive supply chain issue resolution
  • Technical Support & Training: Provide technical support to sales teams, customers, and consultants
  • Conduct product training and assist with project design and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and certifications
  • Marketing & Brand Positioning: Develop marketing strategies to increase product awareness and market presence
  • Drive technical presentations, seminars, case studies, and success stories
