About the Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing a team and overseeing the delivery of projects related to bulk materials handling and mechanical systems. The successful incumbent will play a key role in achieving financial, trading, quality, cultural, ethical, and legislative targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project teams, including project engineers, project managers, project administrators, and site teams.
- Plan and direct department activities to achieve stated and agreed targets and standards.
- Maintain departmental culture, values, and reputation in markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within specifications, and allocated budget.
- Chair weekly project progress meetings.
- Oversee overall management of assigned projects, including planning and programming, project duration management, and stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering (commercial or equivalent)
- At least 3 – 5 years experience in general management / project management
