Project Governance & Coordination Establish and maintain a project governance framework Coordinate communication between: Client Contractor Designers Specialist suppliers Chair project meetings and issue formal minutes Maintain action and decision registers Programme Monitoring Review and comment on the Contractors: Baseline programme Updated programmes Monitor progress against: Milestones Critical path Identify risks to programme and advise the Client accordingly Cost & Commercial Monitoring Review: Payment applications Variations Claims Monitor project budget and forecast expenditure Advise the Client on cost risks and trends Design & Technical Coordination Coordinate design interfaces across disciplines Monitor design deliverables and approval status Facilitate resolution of design conflicts Construction Monitoring The PM shall: Conduct periodic site inspections Monitor compliance with: Design intent Specifications Programme Record and track: Defects Snag items Non-conformances Procurement Monitoring Monitor procurement activities against programme Track long-lead items and highlight risks Report procurement status to the Client Risk Management Establish and maintain a project risk register Identify and monitor risks including Programme risks Interface risks Technical risks Recommend mitigation measures Health, Safety & Compliance Oversight Monitor compliance with applicable legislation, including Occupational Health and Safety Act Construction Regulations Review Contractor HSE documentation Report non-compliance to the Client Reporting Weekly progress reports Monthly executive reports Report on: Programme status Cost status Risks and issues Commissioning & Handover Oversight Monitor commissioning activities Track completion of: Testing Snagging Documentation Facilitate handover to the Client

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of FinTech projects

About the Role

The Project Manager will be responsible for initiating and managing project planning, ensuring successful delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a focus on providing optimal services to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate and manage the planning process, defining project scope, goals, and objectives
  • Develop detailed plans outlining tasks, resources, timelines, and deliverables
  • Manage project resources (people, procurement, systems, time, and budget) from initiation to end of project lifecycle
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget and scope
  • Produce a project plan, manage, drive, and facilitate delivery through various work streams and workstream leaders
  • Maintain and build relationships for expectation management and project reporting
  • Improve service delivery processes to meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Lead indirect teams by providing context, influencing performance standards, and educating on processes
  • Implement governance and compliance procedures effectively to identify and manage risks
  • Participate in planning, designing, developing, and maintaining project deliverables
  • Comply with governance requirements
  • Assist with creating change management plans and implementing them
  • Compile and maintain relevant project documentation
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet agreed standards

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
