About the Role
The Project Manager will lead end-to-end delivery of projects across enterprise-wide initiatives, ensuring project goals are accomplished and align with business strategy. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating activities to develop project plans, specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure goal accomplishment
- Develop project plans, including goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation
- Monitor and report on project progress, run agile ceremonies, and provide mentorship on agile best practices
- Ensure team is working on the right tasks at the right time, closely with product manager to translate epics, stories, and other items into actionable tasks
- Manage delivery of large and complex projects according to prevailing project management methodology
- Conduct business change impact across processes, systems, and technology in accordance with the change management plan
- Provide expert-level guidance to software project team on process, system, tools, methods, communication, integration, and successful team dynamics through weekly facilitation sessions
- Manage scope of work, budget, timeframes, and quality of deliverables
- Identify and communicate stakeholder roles, participation levels, and communication needs throughout the project plan
- Structure and lead multidisciplinary and multi-level stakeholder engagements to synthesize and communicate in a non-technical language
- Engage with multiple diverse groups across a spectrum of wants and needs, building professional relationships through regular communication and feedback
- Ensure satisfactory post-implementation review and perform retrospectives/inspect and adapt sessions as required
- Define roles and strategies, understand behaviors and operations, optimize resource allocation, and enable high-performing environment
- Implement optimal risk management strategies and manage project budgets within scope
- Consider processes, business, technology, and people to implement changes
- Ensure traceability of defined benefits throughout the lifecycle of the project and escalate any deviations
