About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control / Industrial Engineer with experience in manufacturing environments to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting our quality management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support ISO9001 and SABS certification requirements
- Conduct incoming quality inspections on raw materials and finished goods
- Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and understand component functionality
- Develop, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Monitor and ensure adherence to established SOPs and quality standards
- Conduct time and motion studies to improve productivity and operational efficiency
- Provide training, guidance, and leadership to production and quality teams
- Ensure compliance with quality control processes and industry standards
- Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Compile technical reports and maintain accurate quality documentation
- Perform administrative and office-related quality functions in a structured and methodical manner
Requirements
- Qualification in Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
- Sound knowledge of ISO9001, SABS standards, and quality management systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams
- Experience in quality control inspections and process improvement initiatives
