About the Role
We are seeking a Retail Shop Assistant to join our team at Strydompark Branch. As a key member of our sales and customer service team, you will have the opportunity to learn about Tools and Machinery while providing excellent customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with tool and machinery queries
- Maintain store appearance and ensure merchandising standards are met
- Process transactions and manage cash handling duties
- Conduct stock takes and control stock levels
- Provide general support to the sales team
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve branch goals
Requirements
- Previous experience in Retail (Sales) environment
- Experience in Merchandising, Stock Taking, Stock Control, Customer service and general Retail Branch Procedures
- Technical knowledge in DIY Tools or Hardware environment is an added advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
