Paralegal / Legal Secretary | Durbanville, Cape Town
Hire Resolve is looking for a skilled Paralegal or Legal Secretary specializing in contract management for a premier global performance brand based (JSE Listed team) in Durbanville.
This role begins as an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent position, seeing as this role will replace a team member who is retiring.
Key Responsibilities:

Contract Administration: Draft, review, and maintain a high volume of commercial contracts, ensuring all legal documentation is accurate and executed correctly.

HR Administrative Support: Provide vital support to the HR department, including the management of employment contracts, policy documentation, and general administrative compliance.

Legal Secretarial Duties: Coordinate legal diaries, manage meetings, and maintain a highly organized filing system for corporate and legal records.

Compliance: Ensure all documentation adheres to relevant South African legislation and internal corporate governance standards.

Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a professional point of contact for internal departments and external legal counsel.
Requirements:

Experience: 3+ years of experience in a Paralegal or Legal Secretary role within a corporate or commercial law environment.

Specialization: Proven expertise in contract administration is essential.

HR Exposure: Previous experience or exposure to HR administration and labor-related documentation.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal document management software.

Attributes: High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
