About the Role
Hire Resolve is looking for a skilled Paralegal or Legal Secretary specializing in contract management for a premier global performance brand based (JSE Listed team) in Durbanville. This role begins as an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent position, replacing a team member who is retiring.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and maintain a high volume of commercial contracts, ensuring all legal documentation is accurate and executed correctly.
- Provide vital support to the HR department, including the management of employment contracts, policy documentation, and general administrative compliance.
- Coordinate legal diaries, manage meetings, and maintain a highly organized filing system for corporate and legal records.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to relevant South African legislation and internal corporate governance standards.
- Act as a professional point of contact for internal departments and external legal counsel.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a Paralegal or Legal Secretary role within a corporate or commercial law environment.
- Specialization: Proven expertise in contract administration is essential.
- HR Exposure: Previous experience or exposure to HR administration and labor-related documentation.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal document management software.
- Attributes: High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
