Johannesburg: Senior Finance Manager

We are seeking a Senior Financial Manager to take ownership of the accounting function and key financial processes across the group. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Commercial Director and working closely with the executive team. You will gain broad exposure to the business, lead the finance department, and ensure compliance with IFRS while managing audits, budgets, and cash flow. Key Responsibilities: Manage the accounting function and lead the Finance Department team. Ensure IFRS compliance and oversee monthly reporting and annual financial statements. Handle VAT and income tax returns, SARS queries, and insurance matters. Prepare budgets, manage cash flow forecasts, and compile reports for Exco, Board, and funders. Drive process compliance, maintain efficiencies, and manage key projects from planning to execution. Oversee audits and ensure the timely delivery of financial reports. Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: BCom (Hons) / CTA with Accounting as a major. Experience: Minimum 15 years in finance roles, preferably with exposure to mid-sized companies and external stakeholder reporting. Leadership experience in a financial role. Strong knowledge of IFRS and project management skills. Advanced Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems (Xero/Sage/QuickBooks).
