Purpose of the Role

Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function by providing strategic financial insights, accurate reporting, and commercial support to drive performance and informed decision-making.

Location: Dainfern – Johannesburg

Job Type – Permanent on site

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage strategic financial initiatives to support business goals.

• Deliver accurate and timely financial models, budgets, forecasts, and management reports.

• Provide commercial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to evaluate new business deals and ensure commercial viability.

• Oversee post-project financial tracking, analysis, and reporting.

• Drive the preparation and presentation of financial and KPI reports to executive management.

• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes for the business unit.

• Lead financial modeling, analysis, and business case evaluations (NPV, IRR, etc.).

• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across finance and operations.

• Lead and develop a diverse FP&A team to achieve strategic and operational goals.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and best practices.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

• Support implementation of financial systems and reporting enhancements.

Experience

• Minimum 8+ years in senior management accounting / FP&A

• Minimum 5 years in a leadership / managerial role

• Exposure to business operations (essential)

• Experience in the financial services industry (advantageous)
