About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Social Media Content Creator to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and growing social media platforms, driving digital audiences, and producing high-quality content that resonates with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and execute social media presence
- Translate complex themes into compelling, accessible, and visually engaging content
- Develop, produce, and publish original platform-optimised content on social media
- Plan, manage, and execute social media content calendars aligned with corporate, product leadership, and campaign objectives
- Create high-quality written, visual, and short-form content (including reels, short clips, carousels, graphics, and captions)
- Drive measurable growth in followers
- Support and execute paid social advertising campaigns, including content creation, copywriting, boosting, and performance optimisation
- Utilise the full suite of social media platform tools to manage and analyse campaign performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in growing digital audiences
- Proven track record managing and growing social media platforms
- Ability to produce high-quality, high-impact content across multiple platforms
- Strong understanding of complex themes and ability to translate them into compelling content
- Excellent written, visual, and short-form content creation skills
Qualifications
- Formal education in Marketing, Communications, or related field (Bachelor’s degree)
- Relevant experience in social media marketing or content creation
