Job Summary
National supplier of industrial valves, actuators, switchboxes, positioners etc. require an experienced Branch/Sales Manager for their Johannesburg South office, with strong product knowledge of their industry.Monthly Remuneration Package: -R50 000 to R80 000 salary (depending on experience), plus medical aid and pension -Extras: car allowance, petrol, cellphone, laptop, commission KPAs: -Oversee, motivate, direct, support branch staff made up of salespeople (external & internal), storeman/workshop, driver etc.-Provide sales reps with additional support as required, especially for key accounts-Call on existing customers on a regular basis to maintain and build on existing business -Canvas for new business/customers -Liaise with principals and suppliers to ensure that products quoted and supplied are technically and commercially correct -Prepare accurate quotations (with internal sales assistance) -Produce and submit weekly call reports, plans and forecasts-Achieve mutually agreed sales targets-Provide technical assistance to workshop and sales staff as required -Monitor all orders with internal sales to ensure that delivery times are met and that service levels are maintained -Assist with stock take as required-Chair weekly sales meeting and ensure minutes are correctly taken-Work with and report to the National Sales Manager in all regards to the branch management function-Conduct oneself at all times to be such as to promote the good image of the company Contact Scott on McKessar Recruitment
