Job Summary
Our client is a dynamic leader in the wholesale distribution of essential household products. With a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, their business is growing rapidly, and they are looking for a skilled and reliable Accountant to join their team. The team is based in Johannesburg South. You will ensure the smooth processing of financial transactions, prepare monthly reports and assisting in budget forecasting. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for precision and accuracy in financial reporting.
Duties include (not limited to)
- Manage financial transactions, ensuring timely and accurate recording
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring proper management
- Monthly reconciliations
- Provide regular financial analysis and insight to assist in decision-making
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Education:
- Completed BCom qualification in a related field
Experience:
- Completed SAIPA articles
- 1+ years post article experience
- Syspro experience would be beneficial
