About the Role

Our Global Client in the Telecommunications sector is looking for a motivated Technical Accountant to join their team in Johannesburg, South Africa. This is an excellent opportunity to grow with a Global Company and gain experience in the telecommunications sector.

Key Responsibilities

Checking and verification of supplier’s documents prior to payment on projects.
Monthly bookkeeping to trial balance processing.
Reconciliation of cashbooks creditors and debtors.
Sending customer statements.
Processing of creditors.
Preparing management accounts on excel.
Prepare complete, reliable and accurate information in respect of Income Tax & VAT to external accountant for monthly submission.
Preparing for annual financial audit and submitting samples requested.
Assisting CFO with financial requirements and problem solving.
Prepare monthly payroll & payslips.
PAYE, SDL, UIF submissions to SARS & statutory compliance.
UIF schedules submit to UIF register & compliance.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree
Minimum of 3 Years Working Experience with Accounting Software.
Minimum of 3 Years Working Experience as an Accountant.
