- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience with cost accounting, especially in an operational or technical environment
- Ability to manage fixed assets, depreciation, and inventory accounting
- Strong understanding of tax compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems used in supply chain or maintenance-heavy industries
- High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to analyse financial data and identify discrepancies or inefficiencies
- Strong problem-solving mindset for resolving accounting issues
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Collaborative attitude to work effectively with operations, logistics, and procurement teams
- Understanding of inventory and asset management in an industrial or technical environment
- Knowledge of financial practices in maintenance contracts, capital equipment, or engineering services
Qualifications
- SAICA
- B Com degree in accounting
- Articles preffered
What do you need:
- BCom Financial Management or similar
- CIMA will be an advantage
