About the Role
Impro Logistics is seeking an experienced and skilled Code 14 Dangerous Goods Driver to join our team based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering chemicals and operating various types of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of chemicals from one point to another
- Operation of truck-mounted crane as and when required
- Safe decanting of chemicals on customer sites using various methods (e.g. electrical pumps)
- Driving of Hazchem and non-Hazchem super link, triaxles, tankers, and container trucks
Requirements
- Unendorsed Valid code 14 driver license
- Unexpired Professional Drivers permit for dangerous goods
- Matriculated
- Medically fit to carry out duties
- Training in transportation of dangerous goods
- Fully conversant in English
- Minimum 5-year experience in driving a code 14 dangerous goods vehicle
