About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Draughtsman to join our team at Dante Group in Kroonstad. As a Junior Draughtsman, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and facilitating project coordination among various teams. You will work closely with the design team to integrate your knowledge into the draughting process.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating various technical drawings by adhering to specifications, instructions, and performing necessary calculations.
• Proficiently generating both initial hand-drawn sketches and detailed technical drawings using the CAD system, SolidWorks.
• Facilitating project coordination among Sales, Design, Factory, and Technical teams.
• Collaborating with the design team and integrating acquired knowledge into the draughting process.
• Creating, reviewing, and revising drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Recognizing and effectively communicating potential design issues to the team.

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
• 1-2 years experience in drafting or a related field
• Valid driver’s license / own vehicle
• Valid passport (advantageous)
• Intermediate level Computer Skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Qualifications

• Proficiency in manual drawing is advantageous but not a mandatory requirement
