About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Draughtsman to join our team at Dante Group in Kroonstad. As a key member of our technical drawing team, you will be responsible for creating various technical drawings by adhering to specifications, instructions, and performing necessary calculations. You will also facilitate project coordination among Sales, Design, Factory, and Technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Create various technical drawings using the CAD system, SolidWorks
• Generate both initial hand-drawn sketches and detailed technical drawings
• Facilitate project coordination among Sales, Design, Factory, and Technical teams
• Collaborate with the design team and integrate acquired knowledge into the draughting process
• Review and revise drawings and Bills of Materials
• Recognize and effectively communicate potential design issues to the team

Requirements

• Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in draughting or a related field
• Valid driver’s license with own vehicle (valid passport is an advantage)
• Intermediate level computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
