Ladysmith: Industrial Electrician (Manufacturing Plant)

About the Role

Unspecified manufacturing operation in Ladysmith is seeking a qualified and experienced Industrial Electrician to support continuous plant operations and high-temperature production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance, fault-finding, repair, and optimisation of plant equipment

• Electrical support to high-temperature furnaces, instrumentation, and control systems

• Medium-voltage switching and isolation (up to 11kV)

• PLC fault-finding and basic programming (Mitsubishi, Omron, Delta)

• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings

• Breakdown response, standby duties, and planned maintenance

• Supervisory support and weekly progress reporting

Requirements

• Trade Tested Electrician N4 Electrical Qualification

• Wiremans Licence (essential)

• Minimum 4-5 years post trade-test industrial experience

• High-temperature furnace instrumentation exposure

• 11kV switching experience

• Valid drivers licence

• Strong fault-finding and attention to detail

Salary & Benefits
