Lephalale: Project Supervisor – Interior Fit-Out posted by Icon Group

• Daily Site Operations: Plan and schedule daily tasks for in-house teams and subcontractor to meet strict project deadlines.
• Technical Oversight: Supervise the installation of suspended / bulkhead ceilings, drywall systems, raised, vinyl and tiled flooring systems and aluminium / glass partitioning (including frameless and shopfront styles).
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret complex architectural drawings, shop drawings, and finish schedules to guide on-site crews.
• Quality Control: Conduct critical phase inspections to ensure level, alignment, and finish quality (plastering/skimming) comply with specifications.
• Resource Management: Track material deliveries, manage tool inventory, and prevent site wastage.
• Health & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations (e.g., OSHA or local Construction Regulations) and conduct daily safety briefings.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 5–8 years in interior fit-outs, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Expertise in steel stud framing, acoustic ceilings, and carpentry best practices in planning and finishing.
• Proficiency in using specialized hand and power tools for metal and glass.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with construction apps (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, or MS Project) for daily reporting and scheduling.
• Soft Skills: Strong conflict resolution, leadership, and the ability to communicate effectively with client’s project management team.
