About the Role

MSP Staffing LTD is seeking an experienced Plant Chargehand to manage their mining team in Limpopo. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant operations and supervision, with a focus on ensuring efficient and safe production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily plant operations, including maintenance and repairs of machinery
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of artisan staff within the plant environment
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Monitor and control plant performance to optimize output and efficiency
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve overall plant performance

Requirements

  • Senior Certificate
  • Boilermaker or Electrician Trade Test
  • N4 Certificate in Engineering Studies
  • At least 4 years experience as an artisan within a mining plant environment
  • Knowledge of plant machinery such as crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, etc.
  • At least 2 years experience as a supervisor/foreman
