The Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing monthly management packs, analyzing variances, supporting budgeting processes, and developing financial models. The role demands a high level of accuracy, strategic input, and an ability to interact across multiple business units. You will also be tasked with supporting financial systems and driving process improvements. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management packs and reports for head office Analyze budget variances and historical financial data Review and improve business processes, providing recommendations to management Justify capital expenditure through detailed financial assessments Lead ad hoc financial projects (e.g., machine costing, scenario modeling) Coordinate and prepare group and divisional budgets and forecasts Maintain the MIS and Great Plains financial reporting systems Update and manage the Chart of Accounts across group companies Build effective relationships across various departments and senior management Navigate a complex manufacturing and accounting environment Key Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Deadline-driven and highly organized Proactive and resilient under pressure Ability to manage and develop a team Maintains confidentiality and professionalism Requirements CIMA, BCom, or equivalent qualification Minimum 3 years experience in management accounting and financial analysis Advanced Excel skills and understanding of database structures Experience with Crystal Reports and SQL scripting (advantageous) Prior team management experience in a financial environment Remuneration Market-related salary based on experience Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
