About the Role
Our client, a respected player within the business and commercial short-term insurance space, is seeking a Provincial Manager to lead all commercial, operational, and people-related activities within the assigned province(s). The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping provincial strategy, expanding market presence, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service through a capable and motivated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute provincial business strategy aligned with overall organisational objectives.
- Drive revenue and profitability through new business acquisition, client retention, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Identify growth opportunities while monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and emerging risks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing insurance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent; ensure effective succession planning and skills development.
- Manage provincial budgets, control costs, and optimise operational efficiency.
- Monitor financial, operational, and sales KPIs, implementing corrective action where needed.
