About the Role
As an E,C&I Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, maintenance, and optimisation of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems within a complex industrial environment. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring process stability, improving system performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise will directly impact plant uptime, efficiency, and automation capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, maintenance, and optimisation of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems
- Ensure process stability and improve system performance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Implement reliability and efficiency measures
- Troubleshoot faults and diagnose system issues
- Commission and execute projects
Requirements
- Strong experience in electrical systems
- Proven ability in fault finding and system diagnostics
- Solid understanding of control philosophies and process control systems
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, and ethernet/IP)
- Experience with PLCs, SCADA, and industrial automation
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, control diagrams, and electrical schematics
Qualifications
BEng / BSc in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering
Registration with the ECSA (advantageous)
