Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced Site Agent to join a construction project based in Bellville, Cape Town.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring project delivery within timelines, budget, and quality standards, and coordinating all on-site activities for a large-scale alteration and addition project.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in construction/site management
  • BTech in Quantity Surveying or Degree in Construction Management
  • Strong experience in site coordination and project execution
  • Proficient in MS Project (Gantt charts and programme tracking)
  • Knowledge of OHS requirements and site compliance standards
  • Legal Liability certification advantageous
  • Professional registration advantageous

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations and site team activities
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with programme timelines and budget constraints
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site workforce
  • Monitor progress against project schedules using MS Project
  • Enforce health, safety, and compliance standards on site
  • Conduct site meetings and report progress to management and stakeholders
  • Resolve site-related issues and ensure smooth workflow execution
