About the Role
Network Finance is seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Engineer to lead process design and optimisation for mineral processing, metallurgical, or industrial process plants. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams, while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead process design and optimisation for mineral processing, metallurgical, or industrial process plants.
- Develop and review process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), mass and energy balances, and technical specifications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Participate in FEED studies, detailed design, commissioning, and plant optimisation activities.
- Conduct process simulations, feasibility studies, and technology evaluations.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and project management teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Support client engagement, technical presentations, and proposal development.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- BEng Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Professional Engineering Registration (PrEng) with ECSA.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in process engineering, preferably within metals, minerals processing, or heavy industrial projects.
- Proven experience in process plant design, commissioning, and optimisation.
- Strong understanding of process simulation tools and engineering design standards.
- Experience working on large EPC/EPCM projects will be advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
