Role Overview

You will play a key role in the development and delivery of innovative payment products, translating business requirements into clear, structured documentation and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
Working closely with product, tech, and operations teams, you’ll contribute to delivering scalable and efficient payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and document business and reporting requirements
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and documentation
  • Document workflows, processes, and procedures
  • Support project delivery within the PMO, including backlog grooming
  • Manage and track requirement changes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date BA documentation
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet requirements
  • Continuously improve analysis tools, methodologies, and processes

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • 5–8 years’ experience in a Business Analyst or similar role
  • Strong understanding of business analysis principles and documentation
  • Experience working with tools such as:
    • Microsoft Suite
    • Draw.io
    • Jira
    • Confluence
    • Visio
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across all levels of the business
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Fluent in business English (additional languages advantageous)
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport

Highly Advantageous

  • Exposure to the payments or fintech environment, including:
    • Retail payments
    • Digital payments
    • Banking systems
    • Card schemes
    • EFT, settlement, and acquiring
