About the Role
A dynamic accounting-focused company in Mpumalanga is seeking an experienced SAICA Clerk to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting and finance, with excellent organizational and administrative skills. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a busy professional environment and support finance and accounting operations in line with SAICA standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support finance and accounting operations in line with SAICA standards
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes
- Assist with preparation and submission of financial reports
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team
- Coordinate and track training and professional development activities
- Manage correspondence with professional boards and exam bodies
- Assist with payroll and statutory submissions
Requirements
- 3rd year or completed SAICA-accredited degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately with financial data
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and support professional development initiatives
