About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at HotelJobs in Musina, Northern Limpopo. As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our lodge, business areas, and all other facilities, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall maintenance of the lodge, business areas, and all other facilities.
- Upkeep of buildings, fixtures, furniture, equipment, landscaping, and gardens.
- Ensure effective stock control procedures and methods are enforced to achieve the maintenance expense budget.
- Compliance with HACCAP principles in the general upkeep of kitchens, bars, and food production areas.
- Implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Program for all essential equipment.
- Communicating with guests, conducting regular satisfaction checks, and providing feedback.
- Managing the maintenance team according to relevant laws and procedures.
- Performing occasional other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (essential)
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Maintenance Manager (essential)
- Good understanding of technical features of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
- Basic vehicle service experience required
- Road maintenance experience (solar systems experience preferred)
- Previous lodge experience (preferred)
