About the Role

The ARCS team is seeking an experienced Examiner of Vehicles to join our operations in Nelspruit, South Africa. As a Grade A examiner, you will be responsible for conducting thorough vehicle inspections and ensuring compliance with roadworthiness testing procedures and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to determine roadworthiness
  • Ensure compliance with relevant roadworthiness testing procedures and legislation
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results
  • Provide expert advice on vehicle inspection and testing procedures
  • Work collaboratively as part of a commercial dealership or testing station team

Requirements

  • Valid Grade A Examiner of Vehicles Certificate (essential)
  • Registered with the relevant provincial regulatory authority
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Vehicle Examiner
  • Strong knowledge of roadworthiness testing procedures and legislation
  • Experience within a commercial dealership or testing station environment
  • Valid driver’s licence (Code B; Code EC advantageous)
  • Computer literate (MS Office and testing systems)
