About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at Cloud 9 Personnel in Nelspruit. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality print and digital designs, developing print/design briefs, and collaborating with clients and account managers to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Meeting clients or account managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job
• Estimating the time required to complete the work and providing quotes for clients; as per estimators calculations.
• Developing print/design briefs that suit the client’s purpose
• Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design
• Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
• Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients or account managers
• Working with a range of media, including Adobe and keeping up to date with emerging technologies
• Proof reading and providing proof sample to customer to produce accurate and high-quality work
• Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print or digital
• Commissioning illustrators and photographers

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in graphic design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Strong understanding of printing techniques and processes
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
