About the Role
The Power Plant Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our GCC Factories in Nelspruit, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power plant maintenance and utilities, with 15 years of experience in a similar environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies for the Engineering Department in line with O & M Strategies
- Provide input into major breakdowns and analyze all breakdowns
- Reduce breakdowns
- Ensure effective plant preventative maintenance
- Conduct plant preventative maintenance
- Overview and assess planned maintenance activities
- Project management
Requirements
- GCC Factories
- 15 years exp in POWER PLANT / Utilities environment
- Degree Mechanical
- Strong MS Excel, Word and Project Management & PowerPoint skills
- Auditing Skills
- Understanding Power Plant operations & associated risks
- SHERQ Management Systems knowledge
