Newcastle: Risk Investigator

Overview: IZI South Africa (PTY) is a leading provider of integrated cash management solutions and is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Risk investigator to join our team in Newcastle. Reporting to the Risk and Security Director the Risk Investigator will play a critical role within the business ensuring that investigations are properly done. The Investigator provides an investigation service to a customer, in compliance with legislation, Company policies and procedures. Main Responsibilities: Ensure that all incidents / allegations of criminal activity involving IZI South Africa customers and employees are investigated. Ensure that all accidents resulting in injury, damage or loss involving IZI South Africa employees are investigated. Ensure that a case docket is created for each investigation, recording all relevant information, witnesses and securing evidence required for a criminal prosecution, disciplinary process or liability claim. Implement and maintain effective management of case dockets, ensuring that appropriate processes and actions are initiated, finalized and recorded. Identify and recruit informers, to ensure effective information gathering within the region regarding criminal activity impacting on IZI South Africa customers. Establish and maintain effective communication with local SAPS structures. Provide appropriate assistance to SAPS officials to ensure criminal prosecution of cases investigated on behalf of IZI South Africa customers. Minimum Requirements and Experiences: South African security legislation G4S Operational Policy and procedures G4S HR Policy and procedures Criminal Procedures Act Communication (written and verbal) Negotiation Managing Conflict Managing professionally Computer literacy Collaborating and cooperating Awareness of the market environment Leading People Minimum Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent Drivers Licence PSIRA Grade B Registered Security Service Provider Minimum 5 years experience in investigations
