About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Craven Cottage CC in the North West. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and profitable running of the kitchen under the leadership of our Executive Chef. With a strong background in fine dining, we require a passionate and creative chef who can deliver exceptionally high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the efficient and profitable running of the kitchen
- Work all sections of the kitchen
- Consistently deliver exceptionally high-quality meals
- Be actively involved in menu development and stay up-to-date with latest food trends
- Collaborate with Executive Chef to create and elevate all aspects of the culinary experience
- Develop, train, and inspire a diverse team of junior chefs
- Proactively manage food control systems to ensure margins are maintained
Requirements
- Grade 12
- At least 3+ years related experience as a Sous Chef in Hot Kitchen in 5* establishments
- Formal Professional Cookery or Culinary Arts Diploma from a reputable institution required
Qualifications
- Completed Formal Professional Cookery or Culinary Arts Diploma from a reputable institution
