About the Role
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets within an assigned geographic territory in the Northern Cape region. This role combines strategic planning, field sales execution, and team coordination to expand Libra Marketings market share and customer footprint in the area.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Identify growth opportunities within the territory and pursue new business leads.
- Maintain regular field visits to customers (retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and key accounts).
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and product demand patterns.
- Forecast sales and submit accurate reporting to the Regional Sales Director.
- Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers.
- Provide high-quality customer service and resolve client queries or issues promptly.
- Conduct product presentations and training for customer staff when needed.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) is required; tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field is an advantage.
