About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Creditors Clerk to join our team in Paarl. As a key member of our accounts payable function, you will be responsible for managing high volumes of creditors’ accounts and ensuring timely payment processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high volumes of creditors’ accounts, including resolving account queries promptly
- Build relationships with suppliers and efficiently reconcile accurate accounts for payment
- Deal with high volume suppliers and foreign exchange transactions with overseas suppliers
- Maintain contracts with service providers/suppliers, allocate payments, and reconcile purchases versus invoicing
- Generate reports and meet deadlines
- Support the Financial Manager with ad hoc and month/year end functions
Requirements
- Matric
- 3-5 years experience in managing high volumes of accounts payable (creditors) accounts in a fast-paced technical environment
- Proven experience in taking accountability for effective control of the entire accounts payable function
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- ERP software proficiency, including SAP or Syspro
