About the Role
The Area Sales Executive will be responsible for driving new business growth, expanding customer bases, and achieving sales targets within the supply chain solutions division of Riseup Management. This role requires a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and conduct new business appointments
- Cold calling and proactive lead generation
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets
- Generate new sales leads and acquire new customers
- Sell the full supply chain solutions including Domestic Courier, Express and Freight
- Identify customer needs and expand the customer base
- Update SalesForce daily and weekly
- Prepare and present professional proposals and presentations to clients.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) – Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ proven corporate sales experience (5 years for senior-level candidates)
- Experience selling into medium to large corporate clients
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Experience working for reputable corporate organisations
- Industry experience within logistics, freight, international shipping, or warehousing highly advantageous
- Strong experience in presenting and negotiating business solutions at senior management or executive level
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license
- Own reliable vehicle (non-negotiable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
