About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join our team in Pietermaritzburg. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple sites and stakeholders to achieve procurement goals
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure best prices and terms
• Maintain accurate records and reports in procurement software systems
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, laws, and regulations
• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Diploma or Degree in one of the following: Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Procurement, Logistics / Operations Management
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a procurement or buying role (non-profit or service sector and added advantage)
• Experience managing multiple sites or stakeholders is an advantage
