About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join our team in Pietermaritzburg. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for coordinating procurement activities and ensuring that our organization’s purchasing needs are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple sites and stakeholders to achieve procurement objectives
• Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and contract management
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure best prices and terms
• Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and manage budgets
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, laws, and regulations
• Provide support for ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Diploma or Degree in one of the following: Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Procurement, Logistics / Operations Management
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a procurement or buying role (non-profit or service sector and added advantage)
• Experience managing multiple sites or stakeholders is an advantage
