About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team, specializing in Tekla Design Software. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with structural engineering design consultancy clients to understand their challenges and guide them towards efficient, practical solutions from Tekla. Your primary objective is to promote and sell Tekla Tedds and Tekla Structural Designer, driving growth of our share of the market while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with structural engineering design consultancy clients to understand their workflows, challenges, and BIM maturity
- Promote and sell Tekla Tedds and Tekla Structural Designer, acting as a technically competent, commercial point of contact
- Demonstrate how these two solutions can improve design efficiency, speed, collaboration, and engineering drawing production processes
- Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, and solution presentations tailored to client needs
- Build long-term relationships and position yourself as a trusted technology partner
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in the structural engineering design industry
- Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure successful customer onboarding and outcomes
Requirements
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- At least 3 years experience in a structural engineering design office
- A strong technical background with commercial ambition to succeed in a sales career
- Hands-on experience working with Tekla Tedds and/or Tekla Structural Designer software
- Strong understanding of digital workflows across the structural design process
- Confidence engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and decision makers
- A genuine passion for using technology to move the industry forward
