About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Nature Guide to join our luxury boutique reserve within the private protected biosphere of Overberg Coastal & Kogelberg Nature Reserve. As a guide, you will have the unique opportunity to share your genuine passion for the smaller, often overlooked aspects of nature with our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead guided tours and nature walks in the fynbos, birdlife, and marine ecosystems of the reserve.
  • Develop and deliver engaging nature programs and activities for guests.
  • Collaborate with the reserve’s management team to develop and implement conservation initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of species sightings and habitat observations.

Requirements

  • Experience & knowledge of Overberg Birdlife, Fynbos & plant life, Marine & ecosystems.
  • Physically fit & healthy with at least 5 years’ experience as a guide.
  • Minimum CATHSSETA Nature Site Guide (NQF2) / FGASA Nature Guide (NQF2) or higher qualification.
