- Make sure the finance departments prioritize quality.
- Oversee ongoing process optimization and improvement, audit feedback, and reporting quality.
- Applicable, pertinent financial reports must be optimized and of a high enough calibre to guarantee that the business may be effectively run and continue to expand.
- Make ensuring the systems, data acquisition, and reporting from the finance team are accurate and of high quality.
- Responsible for the cost-saving research and business analysis.
- Oversee the ROI, NPV, payback, EVA, and other financial analyses and justifications for fixed asset investments.
- Create financial tools and oversee feasibility studies (payback, cost savings, and EVA), particularly for capital expenditures.
- Verify and advise on the fulfilment of working capital needs.
- Management and leadership of the year-end external audit process to identify possibilities for ongoing improvement.
- Oversee the project team’s completion of audit findings within predetermined deadlines.
- Every deadline for reporting is sacred.
- Encourage and direct the creation of policies and decision-making.
