About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Centre Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Polokwane Metropolitan Centre. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing retail or commercial centres, with strong financial and operational management skills. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and has excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site staff and provide guidance
- Conduct daily centre inspections and walkabouts
- Identify and address potential problematic tenants
- Implement and maintain a maintenance and operations file
- Oversee the management of non-technical services, repairs, and maintenance
- Handle tenant queries professionally and with immediate response
- Source, secure, and conclude leases within parameters set
- Negotiate lease renewals with tenants as required
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years in a relevant field, particularly centre or property management
- Strong financial and operational management skills
- Proficient in MS Office and property management systems
- Proven experience managing retail or commercial centres
- Excellent communication and negotiation ability
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Property / Facilities / Business Management (e.g., Matric, degree)
