About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Centre Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Polokwane Metropolitan Centre. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing retail or commercial centres, with strong financial and operational management skills. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and has excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all on-site staff and provide guidance
  • Conduct daily centre inspections and walkabouts
  • Identify and address potential problematic tenants
  • Implement and maintain a maintenance and operations file
  • Oversee the management of non-technical services, repairs, and maintenance
  • Handle tenant queries professionally and with immediate response
  • Source, secure, and conclude leases within parameters set
  • Negotiate lease renewals with tenants as required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years in a relevant field, particularly centre or property management
  • Strong financial and operational management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and property management systems
  • Proven experience managing retail or commercial centres
  • Excellent communication and negotiation ability
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
