About the Role
We are seeking a highly responsible and engaging Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests at our exclusive lodge pool area. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe environment while contributing to the overall high-end guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain constant surveillance of the swimming pool and immediate area to prevent accidents.
- Enforce all swimming pool policies, rules, and regulations clearly and courteously.
- Respond to emergencies swiftly and efficiently, performing water rescues and administering CPR/First Aid as required.
- Perform routine checks of pool chemical levels and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool deck, loungers, and surrounding areas.
- Assist with general guest service inquiries and ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Requirements
Current and valid Lifeguard certification (e.g., Pool Lifeguard, Open Water certification if applicable to lodge environment).
Current certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
Proven experience as a Lifeguard or Pool Attendant, preferably within a luxury hotel, resort, or game lodge environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional demeanor and a strong commitment to guest safety and service excellence.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
