About the Role
A renowned company in the hospitality industry is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. With 5 years’ relevant accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality sector, and a strong foundation in Microsoft Office skills (Excel & Word), our ideal candidate will be well-equipped to manage intercompany recoveries across multiple entities and provide exceptional financial support to the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform 14 bank reconciliations
- Record journals including: Interest received and payable Depreciation Provisions Petty cash Reservation system integration into QuickBooks
- Manage intercompany recoveries across multiple entities (exchange rate knowledge essential)
- Billing and management of Accounts Receivable
- Capturing and management of Accounts Payable and ageing
- Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Monthly Profit & Loss reporting for multiple entities using Google Sheets etc.
Requirements
- 5 years’ relevant accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality sector
- Formal qualification in Accounting or Finance
- Strong understanding of multi-entity accounting and foreign exchange
- Experience working with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems
