About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Coordinator in Port Elizabeth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working at the intersection of operations, customer service, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the scheduling and smooth rollout of new service installations from start to finish
- Serve as the central link between internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery
- Monitor ongoing projects, anticipate potential challenges, and resolve resource or scheduling issues proactively
- Organize and oversee both planned and urgent maintenance visits for existing clients
- Ensure service commitments are consistently achieved by tracking technician assignments and job completion
- Maintain detailed and compliant records of all service activities for reporting purposes
- Communicate updates clearly, respond to customer queries, and address concerns with professionalism and care
- Collaborate with sales, technical staff, contractors, and operations to align service outcomes with client expectations
- Contribute to planning sessions to forecast demand and allocate resources effectively
- Promote a strong customer-focused culture by ensuring every interaction demonstrates reliability and respect
Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills (especially English)
- 1–2 years’ experience in a coordination or administrative role, ideally within a service delivery environment
- Reliable transport
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities
