About the Role
Our client in the Manufacturing Sector is currently looking to employ an experienced Master Scheduler to their team in Port Elizabeth. An awesome career opportunity awaits you!
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure sufficient supply of raw materials and components to support production plans
- Maintain MRP parameters and master data within ERP systems
- Forecast strategic and imported materials
- Manage replenishment and ordering processes
- Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS)
- Align production plans with sales forecasts and operational requirements
- Optimise capacity utilisation and inventory levels
- Coordinate with procurement, QA, and operations to ensure supply readiness
- Schedule daily production activities in line with MPS
- Ensure fulfilment of customer orders (including OEM and export requirements)
- Monitor production performance and resolve deviations
- Maintain accurate SAP/ERP transactions and inventory records
- Support production teams with planning guidance and material availability
Requirements
- Diploma in Production / Maintenance Planning, Engineering, or related field (NQF 6)
- Degree advantageous
- Up to 5 years experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of MRP, MPS, and supply chain processes
- Experience with SAP / ERP systems
- Advanced computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
