About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily production activities in our Port Shepstone branch, ensuring quality specifications are met while driving professionalism and accountability among teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities to meet quality specifications
- Identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
- Monitor product quality and conduct regular checks
- Maintain work standards, discipline, and housekeeping practices
- Drive professionalism and accountability among teams
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Conduct safety inspections and implement measures
- Enforce safety protocols and PPE requirements
Requirements
- OHSA Competence: Demonstrated understanding of Safety requirements
- ISO Principles: Basic knowledge of relevant ISO standards
- Technical Background: Understanding of mechanical and electrical principles
- Manufacturing Production Knowledge: Strong knowledge of production systems and workflows
- Policy & SOP Development: Skilled in drafting and implementing operational policies
Qualifications
- 5-10 years experience in production management or operations
- Knowledge in logistics, warehouse, and freight sectors
- Strong record in team management and operational improvement
