Job Description

About the Role

As a Project Engineer – Mechanical at Recruitpro Solutions, you will be responsible for leading and managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring their successful completion within tight deadlines. You will work closely with clients to capture their requirements, design technical process flow diagrams, and compile detailed equipment lists. Your expertise in mechanical engineering and project management will enable you to provide valuable technical input during plant layout development and detailed design phases.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously
Design, analyse, and review technical process flow diagrams based on approved project proposals
Accurately capture client requirements and translate them into clear project specifications
Compile detailed equipment lists from project proposals and process flow diagrams
Provide technical input during plant layout development and detailed design phases
Monitor project progress and compile regular progress and status reports
Ensure all project documentation is accurately maintained and controlled
Document, track, and follow up on key actions and decisions from meetings
Organise, attend, and participate in internal and external stakeholder meetings
Review commercial documentation including proposals, quotations, and contracts, and compile technical summaries
Prepare collection notes and customs documentation for equipment shipments
Coordinate internal departments to ensure alignment with customer and project requirements
Identify project risks and issues and implement appropriate mitigation measures
Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures

Requirements

BTech Mechanical Engineering or BEng Mechanical Engineering or BSc Mechanical Engineering
OR BTech Project Management with strong technical engineering capability
Experience within a machinery manufacturing or industrial equipment environment
Exposure to engineering-driven projects involving design, fabrication, and installation
